OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services, Bais
Ezra, and The Rose and Maurice Halpern Lifetime Care Foundation for the
Jewish Disabled at OHEL, offer a broad spectrum of services for the Jewish
community.
Our seven core services, which encompass all of our 26 programs, cover: Housing,
Foster care, Outpatient counseling, At-home services,
School-based services, Sexual abuse services, and Camps.

Providing
housing to children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, emotional, and
developmental disabilities and to victims of domestic violence.
Foster Care
Providing preventive
counseling to families in crisis, and loving foster families to children
suffering from abuse and neglect.
Outpatient Counseling
Licensed professionals
provide outpatient counseling to individuals and families in a comfortable,
warm environment or advice and direction over the phone.
Providing at
home services to individuals with developmental disabilities, respite to
families with children with disabilities, mobile services to homebound
individuals with psychiatric problems, Medicaid service coordination, and case
management.
Providing
students, faculty, and community groups with workshops and trainings on current
issues affecting out children. Also providing mentoring opportunities to
students.
Ohel’s RESPECT
Program provides counseling services to victim survivors of sexual abuse and
their families. Also offering community workshops on safety and prevention from
unwanted touch.
Providing camp
experiences and recreational activities to individuals with developmental
disabilities through various integrated summer camping opportunities, end of summer
camp programs, as well as recreation and after school-programs throughout the
year.
